Got a pair of these for my '71 IRS transaxle, I did the job with trans in the car and they stopped my leak. They go behind the cup that the CV joint bolts to at the Transaxle not the wheel. It's kind of a tight working space to do it but I wasn't about to pull the motor and trans to do it, just take your time and you'll get it by yourself. I would definitely recommend them.
