23 Holes Design

Cross-drilled design on 1-2-3 blocks allows for lighter weight and maximum strength. Used for set-up, layout and inspection jobs.

Premium Steel Material

High accuracy block set is made of hardened tool steel and accuracy ground on all six sides. Heat treat and hardness 56 to 60 RC.

  • I measured it with a digital caliper, and two edges were good, almost perfect, but one edge was slightly worse, but the dimensional accuracy was still around two parts per 10,000, which is pretty accurate for the metal work I do

  • It depends on how high the air humidity you are in. Normally, it is easy to rust without an oil protective layer. We need to brush it regularly for maintenance

  • Maybe not. The size of the stud is 3/8"-16, while the size of the untapped hole is 9mm, they are different sizes.

  • Block is made of 40Cr steel, which is widely used in the machinery industry and has good low temperature impact toughness and low notch sensitivity

  • The 1 x 2 x 3 blocks can be used for both metalworking and woodworking and can be calibrated and measured with a variety of milling machine mounting tools such as altimeters and test indicators

Can't join them together. Included bolts don't match the threads in the blocks. Wish I had tried to join them together when I first purchased them so I could have returned them.

People don't understand about threadedHoles and precision surfaces.No one makes marching theaded holes when assembling to 123 blocks together.Take a Dremel and grind away the threads so they don't engage the top block. Can be machined off of ground in a T&C grinder. Or a punchmate on a surface grinder. 45 years Tool and Dis Shop Owner.

Adequate for small projects however two bolts would not advance directly from top block over bottom block. This meansmis-alignment off holes by fractions of an inch. Certainly not a10,000th shop and not even a 5,000th shop. Helps keeping small parts on angle for model making. Prototype etc.
