The head is okay. Not spectacular, but okay. The boring bars on the other hand are awful. You have to grind almost all the carbide away in order to get proper cutting geometry for use in a boring head. The carbide itself is pretty sketchy. The boring bars will be useful in a lathe where I have more control over how the tool is presented to the work. In this case, you get what you pay for.

3 of the carbide cutting tips were ground poorly and on a bad angle. Once this was fixed they worked like they should. Be prepared to regrind yours if you buy.
