Note: I took the photos with a flash, but it the cover looks closer to a true navy in natural light.I wanted a case for that would look nice and protect my new 12th generation Kindle well, and this case seems to do both well. The navy blue cover looks and feels like a good quality product. It has a buit-in stand that works well to hold up my Kindle when I'm reading at a table, and a back strap that allows me to have a secure one-hand grip on my Kindle when I'm relaxing elsewhere. It feels like holding a nice leather bound book (though it's not real leather.

Got it as a gift for a friend since I was gifting her my kindle paperwhite, it fit like a charm. Came exactly as pictured with the nice leather feel and color, gave a nice weight to the kindle and functioned just as expected. Was able to hold the kindle with the strap, or stand it up with the kick stand if needed, plus it magnetized open when reading which was a huge plus. Overall 10/10 product, now I wanna buy one for myself

This is a very sturdy case. It is also very pretty. It is comfortable in my hand and easy to hold because of the elastic handle on the cover. It fits well.

Excellent quality, beautiful case that fits my generation 12 Kindle perfectly. Shipped very quickly. As an avid reader of real books all my life, contemporary, vintage and antique, one of the things that had the potential to color my experience in regard to using a Kindle was how "mechanical" it all seemed. But with this great protective cover that makes it look like a leather bound volume, it has the size and feel of a real book. Add to that the ability of the Kindle screen color to be adjusted to the level of brightness and warmth (read "aged") for the pages, and the slight paper-like feel of the screen protector I added, and I have a set-up that is quite convincing to my brain and provides that cozy "reading an old book" feeling I always loved. It really does work and feels very familiar. Absolutely love this protective case.

This is my third Fintie case, each for a new Kindle. I love the galaxy graphic, so this one is a repeat.I compared the snap-fit "slim" design with the slide-in version with the easel stand and one-hand band. The former style, which I had on my prior (6.8 in.) Kindle, had lasted about 7 years before I replaced it. It's very light weight and yet enabled my Kindle to survive several drops. I found I prefer the other version. It's a lot easier to remove the Kindle from the slide-in version (e.g., for cleaning), and the velcro flap holds the Kindle tightly. The PU "leather" extends beyond the corners and edges of the Kindle, assuring that the case will absorb any impact, rather than the Kindle itself. The easel provides ample tabletop support. Especially with the 12th generation Kindle, it's very easy to change pages in either direction using either my right or left hand. It was also easy to insert four fingers through the support strap. Note, however, that page navigation requires two hands: if you "wear" the Kindle on your left hand, you need to use your right hand to touch the screen and advance the page. The reverse is true if you "wear" the Kindle on your right hand. In both case, your thumb is not long enough to reach across the page. I've used both means of support while eating breakfast and am comfortable with each. I like that there is a slot in the easel for an ID card or credit card (although I suggest you not use it for the latter).The pattern printing on the slide-in case has a touch more red in it, but both look great. I suspect the variation might be the result of individual, but the difference is minor. Both look like the Amazon page.I subtracted one star for a personal reason. I often carry my kindle in my front pants pocket or a jacket pocket. My new case (with the Kindle inside) is about 3/4 in. thick. It fits in all my jacket pockets and and most (but not all) of my pants pockets. If you don't have this limitation, then you can regard my review as a five-star. This is a winner.

The case fits well on my Kindle Paperwhite. The magnetic closure works well. The strap and the stand are nice touches. It's very stable when I use the stand. Material looks to be of good quality and the embossing is very nice. The only thing I don't like is the color. I chose the brown leather cover and it looks a little too orange. It still looks nice though. Recommended.

I chose a simple cover - I wanted it to look like a book. The case fits the Paperwhite well and has a nice leather-like feel. The magnetic close, the pull out stand, and the strap to hold it all work well. It makes the Kindle wider (3/4 inch), but for me that isn't a concern. I am quite pleased with it, and would recommend it to anyone who wants to protect their Kindle Paperwhite.

really does look and feel nicer than you would expect at this price point ($22). I've been using it for a month every day at home and is holding up well for now. Works perfectly with Paperwhite Gen 12. I like the cover with the handle/card slot options. Card slots would be nice if I was out and about.The handle is nice but only works with my left hand and since my Paperwhite's screen can't rotate 180 - I can't flip the case to use the handle with my right hand and if you physically rotate the Paperwhite in the case - it fits but the interior border doesn't line up and the text is blocked at the top. For $22, I am very happy with the features as is - but just fyi.

I bought this case to replace one. I accidentally dropped my kindle Thankfully the case shattered and not my kindle. But this one has way more coverage. I was worried about the weight but it’s not much heavier at all. I also like the soft feel and the magnets.
