I used to use Duraflame fire logs for starting a fire in my woodstove. Those firelogs certainly worked for starting a fire but it cost me $3 every day to start a fire. Recently I decided there must be a better way so I started looking for alternatives. I discovered these little fire starters and decided to give them a try. I use 3 of these to start a fire and they light far easier than the Duraflame logs and they start the firewood on fire easier and quicker than the Duraflame logs. Doing the math and it comes out to 61 cents per day as opposed to $3 per day with the Duraflame. Even if the cost was the same I still prefer these little fire starters. I now will try one fire starter rather than three which should work fine because my firewood is very dry. That will reduce the daily cost to 20 cents. I have been using the Duraflame logs for years but those days are over. These little guys are the way to go for starting a fire. No comparison!

They work great! No odor and the coals get lit very quickly.

It is so much easier to start a fire in my wood stove then to have to use newspaper! One light does it all.

These things work flawlessly. Been using them several months.I use these under a charcoal chimney or within a pile of briquettes or lump charcoal. For years I used newspaper or paper towel with a bit of bacon grease but these are so much better. They light easily and burn long enough every time.

These fire starters are freaking awesome! They light quick, get the hardwood charcoals in my Green Egg fired up and producing heat quickly. I like using them over other things I have tried. They burn hot, but not so fast as they don’t get the fire started adequately. I appreciate how easy they are to use, I think they are a good value for the money, and easy to see buried in the charcoal, which is how I have found the best way to light the fire. Recommend.

Hubby tried these when we ran out of our other fire starters and couldn’t find them anymore. These work great! Better than our old ones.

This is my first order of these specific fire starters, but I’ve used several types and manufacturers. These are easy to start and they produce a nice big flame to get your wood chunk charcoal started. I definitely plan to buy again.

If you tired of using messy, smelly and environmentally unfriendly lighter fluid to get your charcoal brickets started these natural coconut fiber starts are the perfect choice. They light quickly and burn plenty long enough to do a perfect job. Just stick a couple under your charcoal filled metal chimney, light them and walk away. You'll bickets will be ready to use in about 15 to 20 minutes. Highly recommend this great fire starting option.
