I opted to only buy the bracket since I already have Zipwall poles I use on jobs. This mount clamps onto the pole quickly and feels secure. It's far from being a high quality product. A lot of plastic that feels cheap, but it works.

After 11 feet it gets wobbly

This pole has come in so handy. We use it for our laser level to install cabinets. It is great so we do not have to waste another 3rd hand to attach the laser! Durable and great. It is lightweight and maintains tension.

This is great for anyone doing DIY projects around the house. Fine adjustments are a little tricky but it does get the job done. However I wouldn’t use this for pro work since it’s no heavy duty enough.

Finally got one and am glad I did. Makes it easier than trying to find a ladder or a spot on something close to where I need my level line to be.

I had bought this for one of my carpenters, but we did not use it in the first two months, so the warranty had expired. The very first time I put it together and depressed the top something broke inside the spring loaded mechanism, so now it is almost fully depressed and more difficult to use. I would look at another brand and happily pay more for quality. The mechanism is the same as Zip Poles, and I have used them for 20 years and I can't recall wearing any of them out, and definitely none of them braking like this. I first looked to see if there was anyway to contact the company to see if they would stand behind the product, but seeing that they had a 30 day warranty, I figured I would write a review for others to learn. If you don't mind purchasing things destined for the landfill, or don't mind repairing it yourself or re-engineering the tool then I would recommend this for you.

There are three sections. One that is a fixed length has a rubber base to put against a floor. Another middle section that is able to telescope and then the third top section that accepts a plate to rest on the ceiling. The Problem is (SEE ATTACHED PICTURE) that the base section which is NOT a telescoping section, and the top section together does not make 7 - 8 ft. but has a bottom rubber protection for use on the floor which if it is on cement or dirt is something you want! The middle section which is a telescoping section, and the top section does make 7 - 8 ft. BUT they do not provide any rubber protection to put on the base of the middle section to protect is from use on the floor which if it is on cement or dirt. I tried to remove the rubber base off the other section, but it is either glued or attached permanently. I ended up have to order a rubber 1-3/8" chair leg protector to slide on the base of the middle section to have protection and use for cement or dirt floors like that found in a basement. Something so inexpensive it is no reason that they could not include it with a kit that is not cheap!///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////UPDATE: I just contacted a friend of mine that also has the same model Firecore 13 Ft./4m Telescoping Pole and he told me that when he received his, he had a small round foot that is used to attach to the bottom of the middle section which enables him to use it for the 7' -8' reach. My set did not come with this foot piece and the small foot piece is not shown in any of the pictures or details of the items included so I never even thought to reach out for the missing piece. If I would have known that this piece was supposed to be included, I would have reached out to the company but since it is months ago that I purchased it I am sure it's too late now. The Mfg. could and should show pictures of all the included accessories so this issue would not happen in the future to someone else. I changed the rating to three stars due to the missing piece that I should have received and also due to the manufacturer not showing that this piece should be included in the set.

Had it about 3 weeks. And then one day it was leaning on the wall and rolled off and landed on the floor (thankfully without the laser on it!). I picked it up to find all the threads broken off it. Which is shocking considering how light of a fall it had.
