Firecore SDS Plus 3" X 10" Angled Bent Tile Chisel

Firecore FS18310 tile chisel constructed from special hardening of the high-quality tempered steel, with additional surface protection of the chisel effectively minimize wear and reduce notch sensitivity. This processing allows longer service life and a higher material removal rate. The extra wide 3" blade removes more thinset per pass. This scaling chisel is the perfect choice for clearing tile, thinset and other stubborn adhesives.

Firecore SDS-Plus shank works with all common SDS plus drills and impact hammers of Bosch, Hilti, Milwaukee, Makita, Dewalt and other brands.
- SDS-PLUS SHANK
- SDS-Plus looks similar to SDS-MAX but is much smaller.
- SDS-Plus shanks are usually made from 1/2" diameter steel and the shank end is only .394" in diameter.
Angled for optimum tool position
This bent chisel is designed to sit flat on the surface of the area that is being scraped or cleaned to work at a convenient angle to the floor. The angled head makes it easier to loosen tiles from wall and floor surfaces, designed for easy handling.

We were able to attach this tool and use an air compressor and it really gets the job done to remove tile. Totally recommend!

We bought this chisel along with a rotary hammer (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07QW55TPV?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details) to remove tile from four bathroom floors. As noted on the review for the rotary hammer, using this chisel along with the rotary hammer made the job a breeze.It's initially hard to get started removing tile. To get started set the chisel vertical along a grout line to get the first tile out. Then, you can align the chisel along the bottom edge of the tile and pull the trigger to break up the rest of the floor.The rotary hammer came with a one inch wide chisel that worked, but this chisel is better because the angle makes it easier to align the chisel to prevent gouging the substrate. Also, the width helped us lift the twelve inch tiles more easily since the narrow chisel tended to create trenches in the tiles. The combination of the angle and the width make a real difference when removing large tiles.Warning: Don't forget the safety glasses because tile chips do fly when you use this chisel.

I used it in my hammer drill to pop up ceramic tile on the floor. It did a great job. It has just the right angle for the job.

Pair with battery Ryobi RDS to easily remove bathroom floor tiles. Go slow first 15 min to get used to the tool and its angle to lift the tiles without damage the subfloor. Good price and high quality tool.

Used to demo a large bathroom with loads of tile on the floor and walls. The extra length and angled head made it comfortable to run. Worked very well with lots of life left in it.

If you’re removing Tiles or cement this spade is a must. Used it with a cheap rotary drill and it made light work of a whole house of tiles.Also used it on some cement that I had cut with a grinder. This chisel did not break or bend, I don’t know what the other reviewers were doing with theirs. But I put this thing through hell all week.Will definitely be ordering another one to keep as a spare.
