Exelent stove pipe fire proof wrape. Bought it for an extra barrier of protection between the stove pipe and the tent. Just be sure you do a burn in, in the open air first the wrap will release smoke the first time it heats up. It does block alot of heat from the stove pipe.

Be sure before you use this to do a burn in on the section of stove pipe. Otherwise it will smoke and smell for about 10 minutes inside your tent. Also if you use it be sure to use gloves, the fiberglass fibers come out all over and really irritate your skin if they get on it. Other than those things it is a good additional pipe heat barrier for your stove pipes or for tent stoves.

I can’t give this product a good review at all. My first night camping knowing it would be below 40degrees was completely ruined because of fumes. Pro- Honestly easy to install but when I started the fire, the fabric wrap started to smolder and release a toxic fumigation all throughout my canvas fire proof tent. I had to open my whole tent in the middle of almost freezing weather to release the toxic fumes. I took off the stove pipe and unwrapped the fabric and it formed its self to the pipe. I don’t think I received a fire proof fabric at all. Terrible product and now my lungs and nasal passages hurt still after a week. Im surprised this seller hasn’t gotten a lawsuit. If the vapor from the fabric needed to be burned off prior to use then there should be clear instructions stating so. I’m surprised so many reviews say it worked so well. If so then this seller clearly sold me a faulty fabric.On top of that, my tent, my clothes and all my camping gear now smell like burning plastic. Totally sucks!

Although I have yet to install it as a pass-through around my galvanized 6 inch stove pipe, I suspect it will work completely. It feels like a quality product. I like that it arrived quickly.
