Need To Pay Attention When Splitting Wood:
1. Please do not drill against the center of the wood to prevent jamming. It is recommended to drill from the side.
2. Don’t take advantage of the cracking point on the seasoned wood. Splitting wedge on the kerf will help you split the wood more efficiently.

GIMMICK! This is the truth, do not waste your time or money on this item!! I bought this, took it out to try immediately on several different pieces of firewood. 1st try - hardwood, did not work, got stuck and had to be removed using axe and wedge. 2nd try - 2 year old, dry, seasoned cedar that was previously split into quarters, got stuck, and again had to be removed with axe, splitting the wood all around this bit until it could be removed. Had this for less than an hour and have returned the item. Didn’t cost much but still cost money and wasted my time. Back to my gas powered log splitter!I forgot to add that I used a new Dewalt cordless SDS+, 60v drill.

Had cut up some wood and got ready to reduce it down to size. The wood was from a dead cherry tree in my yard. Drilled the device into the wood shown and it got stuck. there was no reversing it out because it just unscrewed the adapter and left the bit. Quality: Looked good but performed poorly. Value for the money: Although it wasn't expensive it didn't work for my application so not worth it. When I apply to return it I will probably send the piece of wood too ,
