I tested this charging dock with third party batteries by Artman and two out of the four charging docks wouldn't hold the battery securely. I had to press the battery firmly several times to trigger the indicator light.I then tested with native Sony batteries and had no problem with the connection at all.Takeaway: Be mindful if using with third party batteries.

Have a couple of RGB light wands to mount to light stands and the balk heads are the perfect size.

The left 2 battery slots will not charge after 2 months. Missed my return window so I'm stuck with it. Don't buy this brand, obviously they have quality problems.Update: supplier contacted me and offered either a full refund or replacement. I chose a replacement and so far so good. Changed to 4 stars because of their response.

The charger arrived today. Tried to charge 4 batteries, 2 F750 and 2 F570. The batteries don't lock into the slots very securely but if you are careful the connection seems to be ok. The red lights lit continuously, but after a few minutes they started to flash. It is not clear what flashing red means. Normally I would check the operating manual, but there is no operating manual. After a few hours one of the F750 turned green and seemed to be fully charged. After several hours, the other three continue flash red, even after removing and restarting several times. Tried reducing the number under charge to just one, but still flashing red.Searched for customer support from FirstPower but find nothing.I give up. I need to return it.

As a professional videographer we often go through 15 to 20 of the Sony NP-series batteries in one wedding, I can put all the batteries on charge now and they all fully charge. Some of the other charges for some reason only seem to charge a couple of our big batteries to 3 bars out of four where as these chargers charge it completely. I'm very very happy with our purchase and they work great. We have five of them now so we can literally charge 20 batteries at once, a full days shoot ready to go again for the next day!
