We use several of these in genetics labs. The staining on the onion root tip slides is excellent and it is easy to make out all the different stages of mitosis. The staining on the fish blastula slides often is less clear, making it harder for the students to find the stages. Without instructions, students often mistake the blastula sections for cells, so the study guide is helpful.
