The digital temperature works well. It was easy to install. It took me a while to change Celsius to Fahrenheit and I think I did it by mistake. Overall, the quality of the product is good.

Once you put it on the aquarium it's hard to move it. I handled this by buying one for each end of my tank. Great ĺittle thermometer. I like the way it can be easily read in a dark room. I can easily pull it off of the aquarium when our great grands come to see us.

Make sure you read full description. The pictures makes this look so much bigger. It's tiny! I would've went with something else if I would've read how small this was. My own fault. But, it says to tap it once for it to light up, not true. I've had to tap it up to 5 times before it lights up. Also temperature is 1 degree off. Which isn't bad.

I like how the numbers are big, clear, and easy to read, and that installation takes seconds. Unfortunately, there's a few issues with the design that make its use somewhat limited. First, while the adhesive is much more secure than a suction cup that most other thermometers use, it means that you have to unstick it and either replace the adhesive or cross your fingers it remains sticky when you reattach it. Second, the fact that it's sticking to the outside of the tank innately makes it less accurate than a thermometer on the inside of the aquarium. This consistently read 2-3 degrees cooler than my heater and chiller displayed for my aquarium's temperature. It's fine for ballpark readings and watching trends, but if you have fish or corals that require precise temperatures it won't work very well for your situation. Lastly, the temperature only displays when you tap the button, so it's not something you can set up and then tell at a glance from across the room whether the temperature is where it should be.If these drawbacks don't bother you it's a perfectly serviceable little thermometer for casual temperature tracking, but it unfortunately misses the mark for my uses.
