Before and after fishing this keeps your hook or lure secure and it reduces the hooks from grabbing anything. There is the light effort to use these, but it's worth it.I do recommend this kit for all that fish and this makes a great gift too.

I like being organized when I go fishing and always worry about all my fishing poles getting tangled up in the boat or SUV, these really helped keeping each pole separated and organized when we go out fishing. They are affordable, great stick on the Velcro, soft on your fishing poles and create a very clean set up.Overall a must have for all avid fishermen in need and I would highly recommend!

We don't fish a lot, but when we do I don't want worm guts all over the interior of my SUV. These have been a stress saver. They get tied up and they don't move around. I put them towards the back and they work great.

I have transported my fishing rods for years while camping and have always just stuffed them in the trunk on top of everything in hopes that nothing crushes the loops and tips of my rods. Fishing rods get the short end of the stick when it comes to packing since they are oddly shaped and seem like they slide into narrow spaces despite having line loops that jut out like a sore thumb. Of course, if you have a nice rod, you're probably more protective of your equipment and probably have a case or tube to contain it in. For the rest of us, we stick them in there somewhere, at least that's what I have done in the past. These tip savers and the combo rod shaft keepers are great to keep your rod pieces together and the tips protected from impact. it's nicer than using a plastic grocery bag to tie the rod shafts together. the rod 'sheaths' are rubberized koozie like material so they are waterproof and thick to protect your rods. The velcro holds nicely and you can snug it up tight for a secure fit. I like that it comes in colors so I can easily identify the sheaths on the rods and likewise I can spot my rods in a mess of stuff in my trunk. These really give me a piece of mind so I know the small parts don't get crushed. This is great insurance for security for a small price. Worth the tiny investment that can be used over and over again.

These are nice to have, they provide extra protection to tips of poles while keeping then neat and organized. Great for transporting and storage. Function well and easy to use. Well worth the money if it protects your valuable gear.

Awesome little straps! The velcro is secure, and I never feel like my poles are going to come apart. They are compact, and allow me to carry around my fishing gear without worrying about flopping fishing poles. Definitely a must for your gear!

When this was ordered I was under the impression that it came with the rod tip protectors as well. From the picture that I was looking at it showed the rod tips as well as the straps. I also ordered straps as well and this order was mainly because of the tip protectors. All I got was more straps?!!!
