Its Fiskars - my understanding is - in general the brand to go with if you need scissors. My son loved them... we've bought multiple pairs. They probably last a long time... but how would i know? Our son leaves them at school or loses them in the house. I feel like one day when we move... i'm going to have a super abundance of scissors. They work great. I've got big hands - they aren't made for big hands.

I didn’t like that the package came already opened even though it was new. However nothing was wrong with the scissors themselves and my daughter (6) loves them.

My 4yo loves the lenticular dinosaur! Its mouth opens & closes as you cut. The design is on both sides, but one side has a screw so even though the image us not obscured it is slightly less attractive. This encourages my right handed child to cut thumb side down to view the better picture. It is only day one, so the novelty may wear off. I bought this design to entice him to practice, so hopefully he will continue to enjoy the scissors but convert to thumb up. The blades are sharp , tip suitably blunt for supervised use, good weight and quality, and good size. An adult can still use these. We have had other Fiskars scissors for over a decade so I trust this brand.
