I like to pot my plants on the kitchen counter so I have a sink right next to me. (I live in Colorado so it is still very cold outside) It was always a pain to clean up my mess to get a meal prepared and then drag out all the potting stuff again. This mat short circuits that time-burning task. I keep everything in the mat area and just move the whole potting mess out of the way (to another room), give the counter a quick disinfecting wipe and prepare a meal. When I am finished eating and dishes/utensils are cleaned and put up, I put my potting mat back and start exactly where I left off. Easy peasy. This mat has a sturdy, stiffly reinforced bottom that has a thickness so it doe not collapse like a tarp or piece of plastic would.It is worth the money, in my opinion. It saves me a ton of time when switching between tasks.

The reason I bought this is my current indoor watering can is the standard type and sloshes water and pours imprecisely making a mess when I am trying to water small pots in tight areas or at a reach. This Fiskars unit is much easier to hold and control. Its spout is also impressively precise. There is also NO sloshing or spurting of water. I no longer need to carry a rag while watering. Also, the vertical design is a lot prettier and space saving. As far as size, it is easy to hold. And the 40oz is enough to water half of my 35 indoor pots. So with one refill, I am good for the whole house. Highly recommended. I might by another for upstairs just for convenience.

I like the brand Fiskars, that’s why I bought it. As weird as it sounds, I was excited about this. Thought it was a neat style. Well, no matter what I did, couldn’t keep the spout from leaking. I mean 6†puddle in less than 5 minutes. Then when I went to pour the water into my old watering can, I realized how easily the water just poured right out of the top that I thought was semi sealed. So, no. It’s useless to me and I can’t return it I’m sure because I already tossed the box.

I’m not against getting my hands for when I’m repotting my plants. I would literally just throw soil in with my hands and call it a day. However, I figured it was time I finally got a scoop. Works as expected. Sturdy, easy to use.

I had hoped for a larger scoop, to use distributing mulch to perennial beds. This one is well made and seems sturdy, but most likely will be used for smaller jobs, like shifting potting soil to pots for new seedlings. I'll keep looking for the larger scoop I had in mind.

I needed a watering jug that's not too small nor too big. I have 2 gallon jugs for mixing nutrient water and those are heavy to hold! This holds about one third of a gallon, is light, and doesn't need refills all the time. It's easy to control the flow of the water, which is handy for watering moss poles. The measurements on the translucent sprout is a very smart design.
