Ordered these for a film set. They were totally believable!

You get for of these for about 20 bucks and they look very realistic. They take 2 AA batteries each so the red LED will blink. Since 1 LED takes almost no energy, I think the batteries should last a while. I installed them by just sticking them to the wall with fast drying outdoor construction adhesive... it works great, and much faster than trying to screw them into a stucco wall. I just need to trim off the excess glue when I have time. I am very happy with these.

What I disliked about it is that it was made with very cheap plastic. Not very easy to tighten without the screws getting strep threaded.. to install the batteries was a little difficult as well. You have to unscrew the cap and then pull it out to install the batteries and if you wanted the light to line up to the bottom of the camera it wasn’t easy to do so without it moving around on you.. In my opinion I would not buy these cameras again.

These work great and have a blinking red light that make them appear as the real deal. We have bought these before and I would buy them again.

like the ease of install. have real cameras but put these up cause people can see the blinking light. they think that I'm living in a fortress. keeps the meth heads away. lol

These dummy cameras were sent in the product packaging with DUMMY CAMERA printed all over the box just left on my porch. Good thing everyone knows which ones are the fake ones now. This is totally unacceptable from a safety point of view. Make sure you order this product as a gift so it is shipped properly, just wow.

Exactly as described.... Not completely realistic yet they look good enough to deter a burglar.

I've had 3 of these installed for 3 weeks now and the LED is still flashing on the original batteries.Tip #1: the battery compartment is accessible via the front screw. No need to unscrew the top shield.Tip #2: tuck the fake cable behind the mounting plate before mounting so that the cable remains secure. I didn't do this to my first two, but the cable has remained in place. But I bet a strong wind will pull out the cable if not secured.
