I saw other items on Amazon and they were not very sturdy. I’m happy with this product. It looks good and I appreciate the metal supports.

I want to start out by saying that this product looks good and functions as advertised, being made of very sturdy metal materials. However, you should be aware that installation will require some Handyman skills and tools to install. Assembling the frame itself is very easy, but there are no pre-drilled holes for attaching the roof to the frame. If you are a Handy Person, you might have a Titanium drill bit in the shop to pre-drill through all the heavy metal and drive in the attaching screws: I needed to go to the hardware store. As well, the screws they provide are very small: I decided to use heavier roofing screws. Also, be advised they do not provide hardware for mounting the roof to a building. So, be 'Handy', or hire someone.

I got this to go over the sliding glass door that leads out to my back patio. It works well for things like brick, but if you have vinyl siding, you'll have to figure out a way to accommodate the profile of the siding, which is what I'm currently trying to figure out. The overall quality of it looks pretty good, just be aware certain installations will be more challenging than others.

To start, there are no instructions. I was able to guess how to assemble from a picture here.Second, they do not supply all the hardware needed!The self taping screws will penetrate one layer of "tile" but not two, which is necessary down the middle. And they do not supply screws for the wall.Incomplete product!
