The shelf is fine. The hooks at the top are inconsistently sized so they don't sit straight or bud up against each other very well. They have no packaging, so the barcode sticker is stuck right on the acrylic which seems like pretty poor planning considering the entirety of this product is clear. I appreciate the eco friendly packaging but maybe think about a less tacky adhesive on the sticker or a rubber band tag or something. As far as shipping, I received three of these in the same box with no padding whatsoever, so when they came to me they were all scratched. There were bits of styrofoam stuck on them so they had to have been protected in a past life, but when they came to me they were dropped in a large box and left to clank and scratch against each other for the entire trip to my house.

Will not fit 1-1/2" gridwall. The space between the hooks is just a hair too small. I have heavy-duty gridwall that has larger spacing, but the hooks on the shelving are too shallow to fit over the wire. Gridwall spacing information in the description would have been helpful. Minus 1 star.Otherwise, these are nice acrylic shelves, sturdy & durable. Rather than return, my Dremel will be able to fix the problem.UPDATE: my strong-handed hubby is able to compress the grid wires enough for the shelf hooks to snap in.

The shelves work very well and look nice. I do put a piece of shelf liner on them because I set my books upright and don't want them to slip. That works very well also.
