It seems to work well, but its a little difficult to tell what your going to get out of it if you have multiple flavors of pods in the same stack. I keep mine in the fridge to help with the ice in the cocktail from melting quickly.

I needed to find a better storage solution for my capsules/pods. I had so many of the boxes just sitting behind my machine on the bar, and this has really streamlined them. When full, it's about the height of 3 of the 8 pack boxes sitting flat stacked on top of each other. It is narrower than the 8 pack box (it fits on the lid within the margins where you open it) and takes up about 2/3 of the lid.7 capsules per column are ideal BUT 8 fit fine. With 7, they all fit within the metal and there is a little space on top. If you put the 8th capsule in, it will wiggle, but it is still being held on the bottom with some of the metal - it will stay separate from the other columns. If you plan on moving this a lot, just put in 7 capsules to keep them safe and secure. If it will be in a permanent spot, 8 capsules will be fine provided you aren't spinning it as fast as you can.Overall, this has been the best Bartesian accessory I've gotten on Amazon so far. It spins smoothly. The capsules fit in easily. It can actually hold more than the stated amount. It really does save space and keeps the capsules organized and easily used/accessible. This is best for full 8 packs of capsules since you can't easily access each one (you just pull from the top). This would be okay for variety packs IF you are the type of person who wants to be surprised and try something new each time.If you plan on getting variety packs all of the time, I suggest looking into the drawers. A tip for the drawers - make sure that you find one that has all of the capsules going the same way, with the label up (the tab pointing left). Also, make sure that the drawer can be easily removed. I have another brand (not Flagship or Bartesian) that has the capsules alternating and the drawer doesn't come out the whole way, so I cannot use the last row for pod storage.

I have a machine similar, but takes the same pods, so I picked this up hoping to get the pods out of the big waste of space boxes they come in. Now, I don't have a ton, the pods are a bit pricey, so I have far less than I do of my Kcups. This turned out to be the perfect size, I do have two flavors in each, but I do every other pod and mix them together so people can easily just lift the top one off to get to the other flavor. I've noticed this is helpful when seeing what is getting the most use, there were a couple that I was buying that I stopped buying regularly when I noticed their stack just kept getting mixed back in, and others that we drink more of that I didn't think we drank as often. So it's also helped save some cash on something that's already a bit pricey. Compact, stays out of the way, and I love this thing.
