So happy this arrived. Cold air has been flowing in via the vents in our fireplace door/cover. We have a fireplace insert. One reviewer said the color was brown not black. I think it is more of a charcoal black (a grayish hue to it). Definitely makes a difference in the airflow coming in through the fireplace. Attached are before and after photos.

I wasn’t sure how these would work. They seem to have a strong magnet, they fit perfectly, seems to help prevent the cold airFrom coming in thru the vents.

The overall product is made well, it’s just a big magnetic strip that is supposed to block air draft from your fireplace. it fit fine but I would not say that it blocks enough air that I would buy it again or recommend it. I’m sure there are better options.

I couldn't find a fireplace cover that would fit my fireplace properly but these actually fit the vents perfectly and I didn't even need to cut anything. I like that they're magnetic, which makes it easy to put them on and take them off.

Definitely dark brown but works for it was intended for.
