The chair itself is quite sturdy. I'm a bigger person and I just wanted a chair that'll support me. However, there's only 1 problem. The back of the chair doesn't come screwed, nor are there any screws that come with the chair. Otherwise, good chair.

I really love these chairs a lot. They're very comfortable. They look more softer than they really are, but I'm assuming they must be firm to endure over the years of continuous use. We have a house church and they are beautiful. The purple is the best. There seemed to be a fishy smell. This was the "brand new" smell, but it sure did smell fishy at first, but now they just smell new. They arrived in the mail in 3 days. You have to assemble the backs onto the seats, that's the only assembly there is. I received 20 chairs, and I used a drill. I had them assembled in 30 minutes. Me and the kids. You must have a drill though. Without a drill it will be hours. The backs of the seats have pockets for song books. Probably not room for a hard copy hymn book though; would be very tight for that. I'm not a heavy person and I use it as my desk chair. All nails came with it, I comes unmounted so you need a power tool to drill the back of the chair which comes unmarked but between two people you can figure it out

These chairs where not bad sturdy and fairly comfortable. But the pattern on about 1/4 of chairs was was off. The shipping/packing was not good we order 20 chairs, which came in 5 boxes. 3 of the 5 boxes the legs were out of the boxes and the plastic on the ends were all scrapped up.

Arrived in a large box mostly assembled, just needed to attach the back with a handful of screws. Chair is sturdy and the cushion is thick and comfortable. I thought blue/gold might look a bit more tacky but it seems understated and works well.Overall a great purchase.If you need a guest chair, reception chair, or desk chair, this very nice for the price.

As with most people who bought this, mine didn't come with all the screws necessary. More than that, there were no instructions nor screw-hole guidelines to follow. You WILL need a powered drill to complete this chair, unless you're incredibly strong and like to do things the difficult way. Also, as there are no markings for where the screws should go, you'll have to do some measurements to even hope to screw it in evenly.I honestly don't understand why these chairs are being shipped incomplete. The seat of mine had been screwed together, and the frame's back bars don't bend, so it still has to be shipped in a box the size of the chair. If it came from the point of origin with the back already screwed in, I would've at least given it two more stars.Setting the whole "not completely built before shipment" issue aside, we then have the issue of the chair not being very comfortable. It's not bad if you're sitting down for a half hour or less, but any longer than that and the padding really starts to give in, and you're basically sitting on a piece of wood.
