I debated the size of post and leg for a table for my basement, using a 28" square butcher block slab. This one was perfect, the 3" post which I thought might be too small, was very sturdy and the legs at 30" fit well diagonally, and they are cast iron, not sheet metal. This is very sturdy and working great as a stand-up desk for me.

I just received the base which is pretty heavy, but no post or other parts. Hopefully the post is shipped separately. Otherwise I will be returning the base.

I like the sturdiness and quality of this however, it does not come in the height that I need which is 36 inches high. I did not return though I am trying to make do with it by looking for ways to heighten my stools that I have.

well made, well finish bar tablestand that works well with large table tops. Cross foot is very heavy giving any table a stable stance.
