This elastic band has a nice elasticity to it, not too firm, but not too loose, either. What I would expect from this product. The buttons that come with it are useless, in my opinion, as they are way too big for the holes. I think the seller would be better off just forgetting those.

My son is tall for his age but skinny. He’s a size 8 width-wise but a 12 height-wise. This contraption helps me adjust his pants without too much sewing. Very satisfied with this purchase.

Some of my toddler's pants have adjustable waistbands with elastic like this and now I can add that same flexibility to the other pairs. The elastic is strong with good stretch and the buttonholes are close together so you can really fine tune your fit. There are buttons included although they seem a little big, I could get one through a buttonhole but really had to work at it and the hole stayed more stretched out than the ones next to it even after the button was removed. I'll probably use slightly smaller buttons I have on hand just to make it easier but I appreciate that buttons were included. The price seems reasonable and it's a long enough piece that you'll most likely be able to use it on multiple projects. I'm happy with this so far and recommend it.

I work as a costumer and we go through tons of this to help make our costumes more easily adjustable. It is very durable and very stretchy. The holes in the elastic work for many different sizes of buttons
