I use these to protect shelving, furniture, and cargo strapped down with e-track straps, in my enclosed cargo trailer. I saw them in a Luv’s Truck stop for $12 each so needless to say, this was a great price. These are well made and I use them all the time.

While not a professional mover, I do move items in my pickup on a regular basis. Many items have sharp edges that can cut my tie downs or have finishes that can be marred or scratched by the tie downs. I have been using scrap cardboard and taping it to the edges for years and always see professional movers using these, so I finally got some for myself. I am not disappointed - the slot allows my strap/hook to hold the protector, and the protector keeps the strap from sliding side to side. They work great.

For years, have seen singles of these in blue, black and red laying on the shoulders of the Interstates presumably lost by big rigs transporting loads that needed them. Have always been tempted to stop and pick up them up, but by the time I saw them at 75mph, not such a good idea. Could easily have 20 or more of those by now! This 20 pk is not as heavy duty as those, but they will work fine. The most common use for me will be to protect the gunwales of an expensive kayak from the straps that secure it. Interesting will be if any anti-slip material might be needed between these protectors and the kayak's gunwales. As always with anything plastic is to see how will it does exposed to the elements. Four stars for now.
