Your cart is empty. How can I clean my mobile?
Mobiles made of cardboard should only be dusted with a soft brush. Mobiles made of wood, aluminium or plastic can be wiped with a moist cloth with a few drops of mild dishwashing detergent.
How long can my Mobile last?
One person called us and said that they had inherited a Science Fiction Mobile from her grandmother who had had it for 30 years! In our home we have had the same mobile hanging for more than 20 years.
Can my mobile hang outdoors?
No. Since they are very sensitive to the simplest whiff of air hanging them outside is not recommendable.
Will my mobile fade?
In many of our mobiles we use plastic foil. This material is lightproof and easy to clean. Some other mobiles are made of cardboard. Even though we use the highest quality cardboard it will fade over the years. Red colors fade more than blue. You can delay fading by hanging the mobile out of direct sunlight.
When hanging your mobile, try it in different places and bear in mind the following suggestions:
1. The mobile is designed to be a pleasure to the eye and a stimulus to the imagination. Hang out of reach of children. It is not a toy.
2. Hang it away from direct sunlight to avoid the colors fading and the shapes distorting.
3. Hang it where there is some movement of air but no strong draft. A slow, quiet movement is the essence of the mobile. Do not hang it outdoors.
4. Where practical, hang the mobile where it has a subdued, uniform background. A corner position against light-colored walls is often the best location.
5. If possible, hang it in the light from a lamp. The shadow that the mobile casts onto a wall or ceiling will give the mobile yet another dimension. A candle is a concentrated light source which will produce distinct, well-defined shadows.
6. Hang the mobile where you can watch it while listening to music. You will see the mobile move to the rhythm of the music.

I simply love these birds!! They are made out of a quality paper which you can fold down like the wings. I hung them up from my ceiling and they glide around. I put them over my lamp and they cast a shadow on the ceiling, too. They really look great in my lake theme. SO happy and worth the money!

I bought this as a Christmas present for my wife a year ago. I'm happy to say that it's beautiful - and the birds float lazily in the corner of our office, reminding us of vacations spent at the shore. The mobile is in full afternoon sun - yet the colors (not that there is much - with the exception of the yellow beaks) are still vibrant (the sun hasn't bleached them). Also - for whatever reason, the birds don't collect any dust. Although our shelves need periodic dusting - I don't believe we've ever done so to our mobile.Great purchase that's provided lots of enjoyment.

It's so pretty and sweet. Looks lovely above our desk area. We bought it for our home as grown-ups, no babies here, and it's a nice little feng shui home decoration. Brought some movement to this corner. I didn't know it would be made of paper, but it's great quality and we love it. Easy to hang too.

Well packaged with instructions and an overview of this family- run and novel company which dates back in time. Despite being overpriced, it felt good supporting this tradesman. Looks great in a beach-themed room. Thinking about adding a micro french fry for full effect.

Beautiful, floats in room just as I had hoped. I read previous reviewers complain about the birds being made of cardstock, which doesnt really bother me. I was a little disappointed that I couldn't arrange the wings how I would have liked because it throws the weight of the mobile off and the bird ends up upside down...but it's impressive engineering getting those weights down so precisely. Beautiful.

THESE ARE REAL QUALITY ITEMS. THEY ARE A EXPENSIVE, BUT WORTH IT. I'VE BEEN USING ITEMS FROM THIS COMPANY FOR ABOUT 30 YEARS, AND THEY HAVE PERFORMED WELL, AND ARE ATTRACTIVE.

The mobile is definitely a 5! Each of the seagulls is subtly different and is balanced perfectly so it moves with the slightest breeze. It's like being at the ocean. This is very classy - and could be beautiful if hung from the ceiling in a child's room or a living room.

Die Möwen fliegen schon seit vier Jahren bei uns im Wohnzimmer, sehr unauffällig und gleichzeitig ein Blickfang in ihrer Leichtigkeit. Die filigrane Gestaltung fällt kaum auf und doch sind sie da. So schön, dass wir sie auch gern mal verschenken. Tolle Qualität.
