Those of us that love lighthouses, what could be better than a lighthouse pepper grinder -- well, how about one that's actually made here in the USA, in Maine. It's a grinder that uses a high quality proprietary Fletcher Mills grinder, as well, and it works awesome. The black and white finish, and even the Fletcher Mills name, are all done in high quality glossy black and white paint (or other colors, depending on which you pick). Also, the 6 inch size is actually perfect for gracing that little ledge on top of your stove control panel, and for use on the dinner table.All of the above said, these are a pretty great value for what they are (unique conversation pieces that are also performing great as well).

This is my second Fletcher's mill I have purchased. I originally purchased the lighthouse pepper mill. I've used the pepper mill for several years and it stood up to some heavy use and it looks and functions like new. I decided to purchase the salt mill to match the pepper mill and I have found it to be the same high quality. I am able to put enough pepper/ salt in to last a few weeks and I just use a dampbrag to clean the exterior. I love the lighthouse design since it reminds me of vacations on Michigan shores. Very happy with my purchase.

The design and function of this salt mill is excellent. I really like how it locks into the selected grind setting, unlike other mills that change with use. Great shipping, too!

This is the best made Pepper Mill I have ever seen. It is old school, Stainless steel grinding parts, well finished inside and out. A plus for me is that this mill is "Made in the USA". I admit that the cost made me cringe but I wanted something that would last the rest of my life and still be ticking for one of the kids 50 years from now.

Made in Maine!! Handmade!! Guaranteed for LIFE!! Well how cool is that? Pretty darn cool! I love Maine and I love lighthouses. This comes in 3 colors Black, Red, and Navy. I got the black one for my pepper. It has multiple grind settings.I’m going to get a red one for my salt. They are designed specifically for either salt or pepper and are not interchangeable. So be sure and order the correct one for your purpose.
