My background... on site, DW, Bosch and some specialty brands. In ww shop, mostly festool but also DW and Makita.I tried a few other Flex items previously and was very impressed. So was looking forward to this kit. And, once again, very impressive. Do they stand behind their product? Lifetime warranty if registered within 30 days. Festool as costly as they are have a very limited warranty, I would think this alone speaks volumes about the confidence Flex has of their quality and durability. You get two batteries, with a fan powered charger. Only my festool chargers are fan powered. Possibly the other makers have them now. Much faster charging, but I have had a lot of problems with Festool chargers and batteries failing, sure wish they had such a generous warranty! Battery charge time is much faster with the fan, but did not time it. Two 2.5ah batteries, not the longest, but they claim longer run time, so maybe 3-3.5ah effective use. Requies a sicentific test to know for sure. You can buy larger if required. Great light, similar to DWThe impactor is on par with the best from DW... great compact size, power, well balanced, love the ergonomics which matters if you hold the tool many hours a day.Drill on par w best and latest of DW and Bosch, great chuck, normal var speed, 2 speed settings, ratchet, very smooth feel on chuck.Recip saw, on par with most of the big brands.... they all feel similar to me. I am starting to think they call come out of the same factory. Same blade release mechanism, so fits common recip blades. All tools brushless, like the big brands these days. All robust build, seems it will survive normal falls (not from 10 stories ;) The light is a toss in, consider it a bonus, on par with lower cost versions we are used to, always great to have a light that uses same battery platform. The same kit in DW now selling for $80 more, but it seems Flex has coupons running which can make the difference significant.Tool bag if required to haul tools to job sites, typical bag, on par with the big names...So who is this for? Will DW, Bosch or Milw users jump ship..... prob. not, cause lets face it, once you get hooked a battery platform, its hard to change despite the value and quality of a brand like FLEX. However, new users might be the obvious market. My suggestion to Flex is, do what other tool makers are doing, have adapters made to use other brand batteries, if possible, Not sure the jump from 20V of DW or 18V from Bosch can drive the Flex 24V tools. I notice this a lot now on Amazon, 3rd party tool makers either accept big brand batteries to attract those users who are invested in a given battery platform. I realize there is the razor / razor blade marketing gig at play here, but this is a bit different, a way to grab market share that would otherwise be lost. Due to the strong commitment to a given battery platform.I am impressed with the warranty (specially for contractors who log a lot of hours), all brushless, features on par with the big brands, and build quality... Also, if you use pack outs, or systainers, have a look at Flex Stack Pack storage containers, they are superb and also a great value which I am starting to convert to.I can be a tough tool critic and have always used the big brands in my business and my personal use, but times are a changing for sure. No flaws here, great tools, great value, 5 stars.

The FLEX 24V Brushless Cordless 4-Tool Combo Kit has been a solid addition to my tool collection. The drill driver and impact driver pack a lot of power, making tough jobs easier. The reciprocating saw is a beast, and the work light is a handy bonus. The fast charger is a nice touch, but the 2.5 Ah batteries could last a bit longer, especially for bigger projects but I will not reduce the rating for that because overall, it’s a powerful and reliable kit. Like I said just keep an eye on battery life during extended use

I was a little skeptical about using a brand that I never heard of before, but I figured I would give it a shot, as you couldn't beat the amount of accessories that it comes with.Battery life is some of the best I have ever had with a cordless like this, and I used it for days and days before needing to recharge. The amount of accessories is wildly awesome, and although I doubt I will ever need all of them, it is pretty nice to know that I have it in case I need it.If you are skeptical of non-name brands like I am, I get it, but honestly, this beats out the big names, and I say that after using it for almost a solid month before deciding upon the review and rating that I would give it. Absolutely a solid five stars.
