The flex shaft is a terrific tool. The collet and key is a bit difficult to use; for some reason it is difficult to tighten a drill bit. Otherwise, I highly recommend this product.I will say that Amazon did a dismal job of delivering this product. I received notice that it was delivered to "a safe place" without photo informing me of the location. I finally found the package down my long driveway, out by the road, on top of my trash disposal bin, under a pile of snow. :(

This works well I'm used to Foredom and it's not a Forefom!! but it definitely does the job It has a bit of a loud rattling sound, but works fine

You can’t go wrong with the speed control foot pedal it works fantastic. I love this flex shaft highly recommend

It is inexpensive, especially compared to the Foredom it is attempting to clone. Unfortunately that's about where the good news stops. The pedal has basically two speeds and is not linear at all. You have to get about half way through the throw of the pedal before you even hear power being delivered and it only turns a few hundred RPM at that setting. A little further through the throw and you're up to nearly full speed and while I haven't measured it yet I seriously doubt it is anywhere near the claimed 18,000 RPM.Sadly, and most importantly for me, the chuck on the handpiece is defective right out of the box. It was definitely jammed together with more than hand strength and took significant back and forth work to get it to budge at all. When it did finally move, only one of the jaws moved. I'm now wishing I would have just spent twice as much and gotten a higher quality tool to begin with. By the time I get all the pieces to fix these issues I will have spent at least as much as the cost of the too, making the brand name option the more cost effective route.

the motor is strong only problem I had is with the handpiece ...It fell apart as soon as i started it up.the hand piece is junk but don't let that stop you from buying this motor as there are plenty handpieces that fit it. which is why it got 4 stars instead of 1. If my foredom handpieces had not worked i would have sent it back. but they work perfectly.So all in all I say buy this motor and get a different handpiece for it.
