Plus, you can use the finger protectors for handling sticky & messy materials such as lip balm, spices, wax, paint, cream, glue, epoxy, etc. The kit also comes with one (1) nonstick mat pad, made with high quality lab approved silicone. Non-stick pads will save you a lot of time cleaning messes during arts & crafts such as hot glue projects! Do not use mat over an open flame or slice into small pieces. SIZING: While every woman’s hand is a little different – some larger overall, some smaller with some fingers thinner and some wider, this set was designed to provide a full range of options for which most of the sizes should accommodate the average women’s finger size. This means that depending on your unique finger attributes, it’s possible that 1/3 or even 2/3 of the set might not fit you perfectly, but it’s nearly 100% likely that at least 33% of the sizes will fit your specific fingers. The reason we provide a wide range of sizes in each set is to ensure that at least 3 of the nine will fit every uniquely beautiful hand among our customer base. Many of our customers find that the entire set fits well on different fingers. I do hand quilting and these are great. I use one for my thumb and one for my finger. It keeps me frompoking the needle in my finger. If your hand quilting, the last thing you want on the quilt is blood.Using them and find them great!

I embroider baby blankets. Some days I can work a blanket for hours so my push finger gets tender and painful. I use one on my push finger now all the time. I was worried my finger would get a little sweaty and sticky, but that's not the case at all. They aren't too thick or too thin. It's also does not make me feel clumsy with the needle at all. The size assortment made it easy to find the one that fit my finger just right. I don't see myself having to repurchase, because of how many were in the package and how they hold up.

As other reviewers have said, half of these silicon thimbles are for use with hot glue so they have thick tops that make them cumbersome for use with embroidery. The fit isn’t great, but I found two of them fit my needs sand protect my fingers while maintaining dexterity.

Takes several seconds to put on and take off. So fine if you leave them on to work. Protects from small flames (sealing paracord), and the pad protects from small punctures and cuts (sewing). Uncomfortable at first, lose sensitivity and some dexterity. Probably improve with use.

I like the 3/9 that have thick tips. The small and large ones (6/9), are not for hand sewing. Disappointed that $17 gets me only 3 suitable for my needs. I wear size medium gloves. The thick tip ones fit my middle finger. The small ones are too small for my pinky. The larger ones, also unsuitable for hand sewing are a fair fit for my thumbs. I will keep these because the 3 good ones are the size and thickness for hand sewing. I neither recommend these nor will I ever purchase again.9/15/24. Update: the ones I thought might be good, weren’t. It didn’t take long for the thread end of my needle to poke through and injur me. I cannot recommend this product. If you try them, protect your finger with a bandaid under the device.

I have sculptured nails and thimbles that will fit is very difficult. These are great, fit snug, easy to put on. Just what I was looking for.
