This is not the first silicone squeegee, “for removing water from your car after washingâ€, that I have used, so I was surprised to find how relatively stiff this one is.It has difficulty following even slight vehicle sheet metal contours, and when a bit more pressure is applied to try and make it conform, the blade begins to chatter and skip on the clean wet sheet metal. The amount of force that would be required to make it “work†seems to me to risk leaving marks in the paint.Additionally, if you want to rinse it between swipes, perhaps to insure that no grit may have inadvertently stuck to the blade, and you dip it into your wash bucket, the hollow handle fills with water which then drips onto the surface that you are trying to “dry.â€It DOES work on flat glass and gently curved windshields, house windows, and shower walls, although it tends to chatter on those too unless it is held at a very limited “perfect†angle. In my opinion, the whole problem stems from the fact that the silicone blade is just not made of soft enough silicone to easily conform to the surface like others I have used. This is a potentially useful tool that just seems to be made of the wrong material.

Works perfectly to remove water safely from your vehicle quickly and easily. This is my second water blade squeegee. I have been using the first one for many years and its still in excellent condition. These things last a long time. These work best on flat surfaces of course, but do help even if its not flat. They will save you a lot of time.Highly recommended and would buy it again!
