I 3d printed a kirby and put this in it along with a fan for a cute little fume extractor. Works great, can breathe during little projects, Still recommend all PPE just in case though!

Much more porous than in the pictures. Compared with a filter I had from another company. The other filter let no soldering smoke through. The smoke went through these filters undeterred. They don't work whatsoever for their intended purpose. They do come individually wrapped, but the wrappers have punched holes in them, so it kind of defeats the purpose.

I bought these filters and they fit my solder fume extractor. However, I would like to warn others that such filters are on sale in at least two different sizes, so you have to check if you are buying them to fit an existing extractor unit.
