I am a big fan of battery operated candles, as I am afraid a real candle could start a fire. In particular, I find wax ones like these to be much more realistic looking than others. These are very pretty and the fairy lights add an elegant touch as well as more brightness. With the remote, you can set the candles to turn off after a few hours (there are several options as to length of time), and you can also turn off the fairy lights and just have the main "flame" if you wish. Also, I purchased the cream colored set so they will be nice to use in any season.

These candles are prettier than I thought, maybe the pictures didn’t do them justice. The small lights wrapped around the candle are bright but not overwhelming and the flickering is just right. The options for brightness is nice as well as the timer for when they will come on and off. I am very happy with my candles and plan on using them year round.

I just keep buying these over and over again because they are so lovely and practical. We use them to enhance the atmosphere, to gently light the floor for nighttime trips and for a soft background glow for the TV. We love them and are surprised by how long the batteries work. It's also impressive how easy-to-use and perfectly optioned the remotes are. What a great product!

These candles are nice and I do like that the remote that comes with it works for all 3 candles at the same time. The small lights on the outside are cute and adds extra ambience (they can be turned off so only the candles themselves are lit, but why?). I don't like that you have to use 2 batteries for each candle (so 6 total) but I knew that when I bought them, so not taking off a star for that. I would buy these again.

Replaced my existing battery operated wax 3" high pillars (with no remote) with these candles that have built in fairy lights. Love the effect and that there is a remote that can operate all five at once. I had to order two sets in order to get five candles which now consist of three different sizes. The fairy lights built in allowed me to eliminate a separate wire string of fairy lights that I had wrapped around my prior candles. And these were not on a remote so I had to have the battery box hidden behind the candles. While I don't have all the same size anymore for all five candles, these new candles are so much better and prettier. Love the effect, the remote and the ability to dim. The only enhancement I'd suggest is for the manufacturer to sell individual candles or a set of the same size instead of a set of different sizes.

I ordered 2 sets, but only 5 of the 6 candles work. I won’t return them, as I can make do with 5 for my decorating. But I did knock off 1 star for that. I also discounted for the fact that the 3 candles are not all different heights, which would be preferable for grouping them. Two candles are taller, one shorter.The candles are beautiful. If you hit the on button once you get the candle and the fairy lights. If you hit it twice the fairy lights go off and the candles stay lit. It’s nice to have that option. Overall I love them.
