Pretty close to a perfect soprano ukulele! First off, I own a Fluke concert and an Outdoor Tenor so I know travel guitars pretty well. Was looking to round out my collection with a soprano and this caught my eye. The build and materials are solid and clean. The Good: great price! Great, punchy and clear sound! Pretty blue stain finish! Good action and so fun to play! Not so Good: the plastic neck - although the wood grain looks woody, the feel kind of irritated my hands. Tip - take some fine grain sandpaper and sand the neck so that it feels smoother but make sure to wear a mask or sand with good ventilation cuz you don’t want to inhale the plastic dust! 2nd tip - traditional GCEA tuning feels OK but the tension was a lot looser than my tenor that made strumming kind of snaggy and plucky. Try tuning each string up to ADF#B for a better string tension and an even better sound. Seriously. The little soprano sounds like a higher chimed hummingbird compared to my tenor that has a low G string. So after sanding the neck and tuning it up to A, I absolutely love strumming and playing this little thing. Definitely requires some getting used to a small uke (I still prefer tenor size) but for a soprano and the price this is such a fun little thing with a clear voice and lovely sound. Highly recommended - and when you consider that the Fluke costs 4x more, you marvel at how good a value this Flight is!

I have loved each of my three concert ukes. I surpressed my desire to buy a soprano Sakura from the very beginning. I thought it would sound too little and toyish. I finally caved and bought one. I should have listened to my heart earlier because I love this sweet beautiful little thing. I love its sound too. Thanks, Flight.

I love this little soprano ukulele, it is aesthetically pleasing and sounds great! The strings take a few days to stay in tune, but the more you play it the less this is an issue once the strings stretch a bit. I 100% flight ukuleles for any beginner or even intermediate player! The bag it comes with is an added plus, even if it doesn't have any padding, it's nice to have something to carry it in.

My boy loves it very much. He likes his music lessons and uses the ukulele every class. The sound is good, and it is a beautiful dark blue color.

A great travel instrument. Sweet bell like sound and easy to play for a soprano uke. You will want to take it with you everywhere.

This ukulele is satisfying as I start learning to play. I know there are more expensive ones, but this one is a good value for the price. Sounds good.

I purchased this ukulele due to 2 amazing reviews by an online ukulele teacher and the other was a home video taken of a young lady playing it on a boating trip. The teacher raved about this uke so much claiming it is a well made great little plastic & wood travel uke. I agree it's very sturdy. The sound isn't bad. I've had it for over a month and the strings are still settling in. This teacher also mentioned the sound hole has a smell of a certain particular wood that she likes. I hate the smell. I find it really annoying while I play. (Could be me … I'm very sensitive to smells.) I purchased this soprano ukulele in blue. I love the color. It looks really cute hanging on the wall. Everyone who sees it says they love the color. In my humble opinion, I would stick to the larger concert or tenor ukulele.

Perfecta relació qualitat-preu per començar a tocar l'ukelele.Genial l'aspecte de viatge en ser de plà stic, és lleuger i es veu resistent, en un any que el tinc tot bé.Fà cil d'afinar i al cap d'uns dies ja quasi no es desafina.

This is one of my favourite soprano ukuleles! So easy to play, so beautiful, and so durable!! This little uke packs a big punch - its loud, has great intonation and sustain, the action is perfect, and best of all the sound is amazing! It doesn't sound like a plastic uke at all. The only thing I wasn't overjoyed about were the Aquila strings, although many people love these strings, I found them to be very squeaky when fingerpicking. I easily changed the strings to the Martin M600 fluorocarbon strings and the ukulele sounds even better now. I love it!!I'm so happy that Amazon is selling Flight ukuleles, in particular, this model that was designed by Bernadette (from Bernadette Teaches Music). I highly recommend this ukulele to anyone from a beginner player to even an advanced player, because who wouldn't want a gorgeous travel uke that sounds great?! It's definitely a must buy!

Amazing instrument, I have been with this instrument for almost 11 months, I am fascinated with it, I use it every day, so now I can easily play it. the material is really good, and I like the sound of it, and it's a beautiful blue color, everyone thinks it's an expensive and very fancy instrument haha ... so I feel lucky that I chose it.
