The product was well made but the way it fit the steering wheel of my 2020 KIA Soul didn't provide me with the non-movement rotation that I wanted. It only fitted at the 6 o'clock position which allowed too much rotation of the steering wheel. I'm sure that on another application this item would work great.

I had one of the OG clubs but in my new car, it was like pulling teeth to figure out how to implement it without it pressing down on the center of the steering wheel and making the horn sound so I decided to look for a replacement. Found this one, really like the concept. It's highly visible and compact, and to lock it is a breeze. I'm guessing that, as others have suggested, it's probably less functional due to it's architecture but as my mechanic once told me, "it's more to suggest that the thief check out your neighbor's car than anything else." In other words, a determined thief won't be put off but maybe they'll think twice before attempting anything.One last thing: earlier reviews mentioned that this leaves an impression on the steering wheel. Although it did do that on mine, those marks went away after a couple of hours when I wasn't using the lock.

This is similar to the old Gorilla bars sold back in the '80's and '90's. It's quite a bit smaller and lighter duty, but it will do the trick just fine. I've used this style of steering wheel lock for decades and just having one of these showing on the steering wheel is very often enough to help the curious keep on moving by. It comes with two cylinder keys and is supposed to include a foam insert for the inside of the lock to protect the steering wheel from scratches - mine didn't. I'll need to scrounge around and find something to stick in there to do the same. due to this I doinked my rating a star.Otherwise, this security bar appears to be as advertised and I can recommend it.

Unlike most steering wheel locks, the one is less expensive, yet it works very effectively! It is easy to use and fits all standard steering wheels. It attaches quickly and releases very easily. And, it is highly visible through your front windshield, thereby deterring the easy-seeking thief. I recommend it.

If you have a leather wrapped steering wheel, the unit will put deep marks in the leather and eventually rip it.I had to put it at the bottom of the steering wheel which is smaller.
