My husband absolutely loved this Floor Gap Fixer Tool, and we were both impressed by how effective it is! We recently noticed some gaps forming in our laminate flooring due to seasonal humidity changes, and this tool proved to be a game-changer.The included suction cup and mallet are great additions and make the job easy enough for DIYers like us. The mallet is sturdy and well-made, and the suction cup works well to pull the planks back together. However, I will say the suction cup does require a little patience. It sometimes takes a couple of tries to get a good grip on the flooring, and if it isn’t firmly attached, it can shift when you use the mallet. Once you get the hang of it, though, it’s not a major issue—it just takes a bit of practice.Despite the occasional suction hiccup, the tool is definitely effective. Does the job exactly as described. Floors in our new house look so much better now that I've been able to close the gaps from the floors contracting. I tried several other YT hacks with no success. This worked like a charm!

This tool is incredibly effective. If you have vinyl plank flooring you probably know that cracks between panels can form from expanding and contracting. This tool simply sucks to a panel (after cleaning it) and then you use the included mallet to tap the handle. It works!!! I vacuumed the gap and then used compressed air to clean out the gap. Used 409 to clean the plank. Next, I put the suction cup tool on the plank I was trying to move. Then as I tapped on the handle I also pulled the handle in the direction I was tapping. I fixed 5 gaps in less than 10 minutes and my kitchen floor looks new again. For the record, my planks have some texture and it still stuck firmly.

I'm not one to write reviews but this product was truly amazing. It fixed my 20+ year old laminate floor with very little effort. My laminate is not perfectly smooth so I was hesitant to order after reading some of the reviews, but I'm glad I did as it worked as advertised. It easily adhered to the laminate flooring and quickly brought the boards back together. Great value!

I bought this to try to close several gaps that have appeared in our wood-look vinyl plank flooring. I saw online descriptions of the process and read many reviews, but unfortunately this tool did not work on my flooring because of the etched grain in the vinyl. We tried it on the side of a smooth cabinet kitchen island and it achieved enough suction strength to pull the island, so it does work - just not for the floor repair application we had in mind.

The suction tool is built well but, unfortunately, doesn't provide the necessary suction on our LVP with minimal texture.I cleaned the floors, tried adding some water under the pads, stood on it when activating the suction and also even tried a layer of petroleum jelly under the pads to compensate for any surface texture - DID NOT WORK.I tried it on our quartz countertop, and it provides rock-solid suction on a completely smooth surface, which is the only reason I'm giving it 3â and not 1

I installed my own floor. Sadly I noticed a small gap after the fact in the middle of the floor. I didn't want to putty it, but couldn't get the boards together on my own. This device worked great! My floor has some texture so I had to stand on it to hold the suction, but I was able to hammer the gap completely shut without damaging anything. Well worth the price to get to fix a mistake!

Au départ, j'achetais cet outil pour refermer quelques espaces sur mon plancher en lattes de bois franc dans ma cuisine. Mais j'ai réalisé que ce n'est pas fait pour ce type de plancher. La succion des ventouses ne se fait pas, et elles sont trop larges pour des lattes de 3 1/2 pouces.Cependant, j'ai essayé l'outil sur le plancher flottant du sous-sol et ça fonctionne très bien et très facile d'utilisation.Il ne me reste qu'à trouver une solution pour mon plancher en lattes de bois franc.

We really wanted this to work and bought it. No matter what we tried there was zero suction. After cleaning the floor we followed the instruction. Then we made the floor more wet. We also had a puddle of water but it just did not suck. We have high end vinyl flooring. It would’ve been great it it worked. The concept it great
