How to Use the Floor Gap Fixer?

You will get 1pcs floor suction cup, 1pcs rubber mallet. Please find us right away if the mallet is missing (maybe lost in transit).
Q: The suctions do not grip my floor, what can I do?
A: The suction cup is more effective on smooth clean surfaces. Can't use on handscraped or textured surface floor.
There are some key points help you:
1. You should clean the floor and vacuum the gap before use.
2. Add a little moisture to the cups, then the suction will be stronger.
3. Need good pressure to get the right suction. Adding more downward pressure by kneeling on it or standing on it keeps it in place or putting some bodyweight on it while hitting it with the rubber mallet. This can help solve the "sliding issue".
4. Use a rubber mallet instead of a metal hammer to knock.
The floor gap fixer can be used repair laminate floor gaps without removing, and don' t worry about damaging the floor.

Warm Reminder:
The suction surface should be clean, dry, free from oil or dirt. Press the suction cup firmly onto the surface of the object, then press down the handle to suck the object and move it. After the removal is completed, move the handle to its original position and the pad can be restored. And we should store the suction cup in clean, dry condition.

Works great ... Suction to laminate is very tight allowing a very easy tap with rubber mallet to return floor tile to original locked position

the tool works ok but it came without the hammer and the company would not stand behind it won't be dealing with them again

The tools are functional and a great deal for $7.99—it’s like getting a free gap-fixer tool. While the mallet, which alone is worth around $7.99, the tools didn’t work for my intended purpose of fixing a gap in my floors, that might have been due to user error. Regardless, I needed a better mallet, so I decided to keep it. Overall, the tools seem to be of good quality.

We recently renovated a house and put down lvp. Once we moved in we noticed a missed up board. I ordered this because I thought it would be good to push or pull the board.The overall suction was not great and inconsistent. It was good enough to get the job done but I expected more from it. Several times I would activate the suction and go to move the board (or hammer it) only to have the suction lost.

There was NO rubber mallet included with the gap fixer tool as advertised in the Amazon photo/description above.This gap fixer suction tool is totally useless on any kind of textured luxury vinyl/spc flooring surface. There is absolutely no suction.Would not recommend this product unless you are using it on a smooth untextured surface such as granite, quartz, marble, glass, etc.
