Wipe down the floor before installation
Tear off the protective film with 3M adhesive on the floor transition strip.
Apply the floor transition strip against the threshold, Press firmly and wait for 30 minutes.

I know this is random and probably not the review you were looking for, but the cord & outlet situation under our wall mounted above mantle TV was uggggly. I needed something to cover it up that was lightweight, easy to put on and take off and looked premium. After searching thru electronics management and home decor options, nothing was just right. Then this magically appeared on my Amazon radar and seemed perfect. The actual product is even nicer and more sophisticated looking than in pictures. It fits my space perfectly, covers all the cords and plugs and looks almost like part of the electronics! I couldn't be happier!

This was a perfect fit across the threshold for the man door on the garage. Is sturdy and weathered the below freezing temps we had in January. And something that was very simple for me to install myself.

Bought , for my elderly father . The rise was perfect being about , just over an inch .36 inches wide , was perfect , for the doorway as well ....The only , negative was , after rolling over it with a battery powered wheelchair , the top , scooted slightly ....but overall , was good for the money !

As other reviewers have mentioned, the Amazon page for the product explicitly states the item is 36" long; it isn't. It is 35.4" inches. Why such an odd figure; perhaps for foreign doorways. I was able to "MacGyver" my way around the problem, but added effort on my part should not have been necessary. On the positive side, the product is sturdy, but I am not too sure about how long the adhesive strip will last. May eventually need to screw the product to the floor. I believe screw holes and screw hardware should be routinely supplied with this product. I would recommend only if you intend to use on a doorway of less than 35.4".

I installed 2 of these in the doorways from my kitchen to the dining room and foyer. Each transition was approx. 1.125†and these worked perfect and provide a nice subtle slope to the adjoining room. I was able to snip them to size with 10†aviation snips. It took some patience and a good amount of hand strength, but the snips got the job done. All in all, the install for two of these (4 cuts) was pretty easy and took about a half hour. Hope this helps!

This was ok to cover the height difference between my new laminate floorng and my existing tile.The coloour and the look was not what I would have liked bit with limited selection, the black will have to do.
