The silver material at the bottom of the pins starts to flake off into the vase water after a few uses. I wanted a frog that i could use again and again, but this won't hold up. Worked great for the first use

This is a bigger size than others I’ve seen. It also is very heavy so that it won’t tip over in your arrangement

I love to have fresh flowers on hand but I do not have the budget for professionally made bouquets. When I buy my own flowers at the local grocery store, I get to enjoy them at an affordable price. The problem is, sometimes I can't arrange them the way the professionals do. That is where frogs come in because the flowers stay put wherever you put them, even if you only have one stem placed! The spikes on this frog are extremely sharp, so pay attention but they can grab and hold even tough rose stems. I took photos showing how well it held even with just one stem and how I could build and add to the bouquet. I didn't have to use very many flowers to create a beautiful bouquet which allows me to stretch my flower budget and get more bouquets out of a fresh batch I brought home from the store. When I was finished, I covered up the frog after adding water with some decorative shells. I think it makes a very pretty arrangement. I really like the size of this frog too, it is larger so I can make bigger bouquets and have the flowers placed and set, and stay set, wherever I exactly want them.
