Got the product way quicker than I though. Props, thanks! Also, they are noticeably higher quality metal than the FR Special. Heavier as someone said here before which is great! They have a good metal clink when you flip flop them around the pivot points. The special sound difference. I used the method someone here I the reviews suggested. Used painters/frog tape to mark each adjacent saddles location. Replacing one at a time. Intonation was very close, so I would loosed the string and move saddle back and forth a smidgen until it was dead on. Whole thing took 30 minutes, and forwhatever reason, the sound and string spacing is a bit more even in my hand the special saddles. Highly recommend, they are original FR1000 parts.

I recently acquired a very nice used Schecter Damien guitar that, for some strange reason, they had decided to manufacture with a Floyd Rose 'Special' bridge. Having previously had bad experiences with the sub-standard metal in the Special bridges, I decided to upgrade this one prior to string slippage occurring. On other guitars, I simply replaced the entire bridge with a 'real' floyd. This time, I decided to spend about 25% of the price of a new bridge and change out only the saddles. These fit perfectly and appear identical to the parts being replaced. In fact, I had to be careful to not mix them up during the operation. Swapping them out was easy. To help keep the bridge in balance, I changed one string at a time, cleaning and setting intonation for each as I went. At the end of the job, I have a solidly functional floyd setup.Be aware that the package contains saddles only. Set screws, adjustment screws, and the small black metal clamp blocks are sold separately. For me, it was not an issue as I simply re-used everything from the existing bridge & saddles. My biggest concern was whether the clamp blocks would interchange. Turns out they installed seamlessly and everything works as it should.The only potential drawback to changing out the saddles-only is, if I ever decide to sell this instrument, the bridge still has 'Special' stamped into it. For that reason, I intend to keep the receipts and original saddles as proof that this particular bridge has been upgraded.

Perfect fit to replace cheap alloy, with steel saddles on Floyd Rose Special.Easy install if your guitar is properly set up and intonation correct.I did 1 string at a time, using peice of painters tape to mark exact saddle space.Had to tune/retune multiple times until correct as with any Floyd string change. LolOnce tuned and strings locked @ nut intonation was spot on perfect.

These are much better than the junk saddles put on the Floyd Rose Special Series but dont seem machined as close tolerances as Original saddles that I compared them to. Still they are good and not much other differences from Original Floyd Rose saddles. For the price difference between these and OFR, I'd get the OFR saddles next time I need some or stainless saddle kit for less than these.

Perfect replacement for Floyd rose special saddles, each saddle weighs about 2 grams more than the specials so they're the real deal.
