Fluke makes the best meters and probes. This is a great probe with retractable tip. The leads are very flexible, and they don't tangle. Highly recommended for use with Fluke or other meters.

You get what you pay for, and these test leads are worth the price. These test leads are well made and incorporate mechanical safety features which should reduce the risk of making body contact with dangerous voltage. The double layer insulation of leads should assist in spotting any cracks in the outer insulation when the white inner layer shows through. I found the leads easy to use, thanks to the supple leads and sharp probe tips. Note that your meter needs to have the recessed safety type female banana jacks to accommodate the safety skirts around the male banana plugs on these test leads. Most decent meters manufactured since the late 1980s are made that way,

I purchased these leads to replace an old lead set I have had for years. They are going to be used with a Fluke 77 series 1, the first meter I have ever purchased back in 1984. It is still accurate and performs very well for what I use it for. The old aftermarket leads have outlived their service life, upon inspection, the old leads were brittle and dried out, they also snapped in half when flexed near the banana plugs, they were immediately destroyed and discarded for safety concerns. These leads are the typical Fluke quality. Red and black with banana plugs at one end, with metal probes on the other end. The probes also feature a twist barrel that rotates to extend a plastic cover over most of the metal portion, leaving just a small section of metal exposed to take meter readings, a new safety feature introduced to make reading high voltages safer. The leads are made from silicone and are very flexible when in use and comfortable taking readings. They incorporate the standard Fluke quality in their construction and the dependability one has come to expect from the manufacturer.
Very happy with this purchase!

They work perfectly. These are a nice add to my test equipment.

Checked the ohms on both new leads.Red lead = 0.0000Black lead = 0.0001. None of the work I’m currently doing gets to that level of accuracy, these are a major improvement over my previous 15 yr old leads. I would buy these again.

I've always used the TL71 leads that came with my Fluke meters. They are pretty good leads, particularly when compared to what comes with cheaper meters. But these 175's blow them away!First, the "Twistguard" feature is really nice. I thought it might be a novelty, but it is really useful and has me completely sold on the 175's. I have experience shorting out components when probing a congested board, and deploying the 175's guards prevent that. The "guards" are quick and easy to deploy/retract, and always available so you don't have to go digging through a drawer to find them as you do with the "snap on" ones that come with other probes.Second, the 175's wire has silicone insulation, so SUPER flexible with virtually no "memory". The 71's aren't horrible (PVC?), but always have a few bends and kinks that never go away. The 175's are fantastic, no bends or kinks. The 175E (with the E suffix) comes with some screw-on barrel connectors that essentially convert the probes into lantern-type Banana plugs. I don't see ever using them (I have plenty of banana-to-banana jumpers if needed). So if you can find the plain 175 (without the E suffix) for a few bucks less, I recommend going with those.

I got these because I read a review that they didn’t get stiff and coil or bend when it gets cold. Even around 40-50 the regular cheap leads get stiff and annoying.I put these to the test in -30 in Montana and they worked beautifully. Stayed perfectly flexible with no stiffness at all.
