Perfect replacement for my Fluke 12B Multimeter Leads. I have had this meter for about 20 years. Still works great. Black lead went open on me, and this set kept me in business.

These leads are real Fluke leads and the quality is evident with the first usage. I tried to save money on cheaper test leads earlier this year and the resistance and voltage read incorrect values. Occasionally the sporadic readings almost cost me dearly - either reading an open on a closed circuit or reading no voltage when there was! These leads read correctly and repeatably. I'm now a firm believer that for safety don't skimp on the leads to go with your trusty Fluke meter;-)

My original leads were getting a knick in them from where I wrap them around my meter when I'm not using it. These replacements were absolutely perfect, and they work well. I will agree with some of the other reviews, the long plastic lead part has a slight curve and looks goofy. Maybe these were set aside by quality control for cheaper sale, because my original leads were nice and straight, and felt tough, whereas these feel lighter. HOWEVER, with that being said, they work just as well, and I have tested these alongside my old original leads with no differences in resistance or voltage. For the price, I'll take some slightly curved leads any day. These are perfect.

Although Fluke is a high quality meter, the leads don’t stand up to everyday use, the sockets wear out. This effects resistance value accuracy. In some cases getting such as in inspections getting exact readings is essential. Often the worn sockets give false readings if used everyday.
