I had an issue with my daughters flute. One pad went missing. The problem is you can’t buy just one. So... I bought the whole kit. The pad I needed was there and now I have enough parts to probably last a lifetime or if any other kids in the marching band need maintenance done on their flutes.

Works but needs better instructions, and could use at least a small case for everything. My daughter had to clamp her flute with my wood clamps to even get the new inserts to mold into the flute. She said it shouldn't be that hard to get them to do that.

My wife replaced the pads on our daughters flute. She was a little nervous at first. But between the instruction booklet and online videos, she was able to replace all the pads and make a few minor adjustments.

Watching jlsmithco's YouTube videos, I was able to use these pads to replace my worn ones. I was pleased with the quality and fit of these pads for my gemeinhardt flute. I also bought the "valentino flute fix kit" because it contained a few more useful tools.

The pads did not fit as stated in the kit. I attempted to contact the seller to give him an opportunity to correct this and got no response back. Waste of money.

I bought this kit mainly because of the light, but any time you tried to use it, the light flickered or went out - rendering it useless. The polish paste showed up leaking and the label unreadable. No label on the oil. Glue pellets in a bag - no mention of this needed a torch tool needed to melt. No mention of a tool needed for gauge sheets. Just not a complete kit to do the job as promised.
