First of all, this toy should be have of the listed price. While it’s cool and unique, it’s not worth the price tag. We had a small part break off on the first day of use.To make it fly, you hold with one hand and quickly give it a jolting shake and let it fly. If you throw it at an upward angle, it will boomerang right back down to you. It stops upon collision to the ground.

When I first laid eyes on this toy, I'll admit I had my reservations. The Flying Ball Orb Toy seemed almost too good to be true, and I couldn't help but wonder if its vibrant design and captivating features were masking a less-than-stellar performance. My initial expectation was that it might turn out to be just another cheap and gimmicky addition to the sea of toys available. However, I was in for a surprise that completely changed my perspective. The moment my kids and I took it out of the box and started experimenting with it, all my doubts were swept away like a gust of wind. The flying toy not only lived up to its promises but exceeded my expectations in every way. The build quality was surprisingly solid. Despite its lightweight plastic design, the toy felt robust and well-constructed. It survived accidental bumps and minor crashes during our initial test flights. Indoor play proved just as thrilling as outdoor adventures. The toy's ability to navigate tight spaces amazed me, and I couldn't help but marvel at how it managed to avoid collisions with walls and furniture with ease. This feature not only heightened the fun but also put my worries about safety to rest – the enclosed design and propeller placement ensured that fingers remained out of harm's way. Unfortunately though, nothing is perfect. One of the notable drawbacks is its battery life. The toy offers around 15-20 minutes of playtime on a full charge, which tends to feel rather short-lived, especially considering the anticipation it builds up during its flight. This limitation often requires frequent pauses to recharge, interrupting the momentum of play. Additionally, I feel that the auto-stop feature should be more sensitive as sometimes even after it had hit something it kept flying. Furthermore, I feel that the toy should have a feature that levels itself. This would make it more stable and prevent it flying off in random directions. In conclusion, if you, like me, are cautious about being drawn in by flashy designs and bold claims, rest assured that this toy is a diamond in the rough.

I had never seen one of these orb toys before now so I wasn't exactly sure what to expect. It looked like a lot of fun and I expected that it would be one of those things that has a short flight time and would need to be recharged frequently. It very definitely is fun and the charge time makes it run longer than I expected, though I can see an area for improvement in the build quality. This is an interesting toy. It is basically a high-speed motor with two propellers that propel this gizmo in different directions. It doesn't fly straight most of the time unless you are careful to get the angle just right, and that's part of the fun - it does require a little bit of chasing on occasion. While fairly safe indoors, in the first 10 minutes of playing with it I managed to knock a clock off the wall, so be careful...It lights up well and it is very easy to see in the dark. The battery lasts longer than I expected. I assumed I would get 5-10 minutes of play before it quit, but I played 15-20 minutes and it was still going when I turned it off. This was a pleasant surprise. The one thing that I think could be improved is the build quality. It feels very cheap and flimsy and I think it is just a matter of time before the outer shell breaks. Hopefully that's a fair bit of time down the road. There's a fine balance here - if the cage is made too strong with thicker plastic (or metal) it might be too heavy to fly right.Overall, this is a neat little toy and I like it. It flies in different directions and the battery lasts longer than I expected. I do hope it holds up over time, though I have some concerns there.

This orb is definitely fun. It lights up, zooms all around, and the motor is strong with a long life.As much as fun as we had with the orb, it took at least 30 minutes to figure out the basics of how to turn it on and placing the 'hat" (we are completely unsure of it's purpose). The learning curve to this little orb did take away from it's value. I will say that it is pretty indestructible as it crashed all around our house. Our kids and cat had a blast chasing it around. This orb is best played in open space. It gives more room for it to zoom around and for chasing.I can definitely see this being the new trending toy like one of those old 'as seen on tv' ads.Update: DO NOT FLY OUTDOORS! OURS KEPT FLYING UP INTO THE SKY AND TOOK OFF. WE HAVE NO IDEA HOW HIGH NOR HOW FAR IT WENT. IT NEVER CAME BACK DOWN. THIS A HUGE CONCERN. WE LOST IT IN THE SKY.

Shaking the ball to active the sensor. The boomerang feature is fun, liked by the kids. Not easy to control as you think after reading the description. Quality is somewhat cheap. The price could be lower
