Ideal for me - just thin enough to not blow through a pad a night (and have an extra pad back up in your billfold) but not so thin that it rips, bleeds, etc. Perforation for easy removal.

I got these for my teen daughter. She always likes to keep a drawing pad with her but she has one small purse that she likes to take to church that's too small for her other drawing pads/notebooks. These fit well. She laughs at the fact that they're numbered on the bottom because it's almost like a stamp of authenticity that she can track if she gives her drawings to her friends.It's definitely not thick drawing paper, but it definitely works for casual doodles when she's bored.Something weird that I was not expecting is the sheet of carbon paper stapled on top of the first page. It's not shown in the listing photos, but one other reviewer included a picture of it. I've never been a waitress so I don't know if this normal or how to use it. We just ripped it off.

These pads are designed for waiters to take food orders, tear off, and hand off to the kitchen. They are numbered and labeled with boxes.But these are also excellent notepads for shopping lists and refrigerator notes. They are perforated and can be torn off and left for the reader or stuffed into a pocket. Most small notepads are made like books, intended to retain their sheets in sewn or spiral spines.When I write notes, I almost always carry the one small piece of paper. I never want to carry around an entire notebook in my pocket or sling bag. This is the perfect notebook for my needs.

These are just ok. They are very thin paper but work for our waitresses as it is for their use only to take orders, not to give to the customer. Don't order if you want a tick piece of paper. Good size for holding while taking orders.
