These work very well for photo mounting. When used in this manner you can’t have any dented corners. These were carefully wrapped in plastic with corner protectors. Size is accurate.

I bought this to try cutting with my 10-watt diode laser cutter, and it generally works great! It does give off "melting plastic" fumes, so if you're going to do this, be sure you have your ventilation system worked out. Also: some people have reported having this stuff catch fire while laser-cutting it—which isn't too surprising, since you're burning it—so proceed with caution.I do kinda hate that all these foam boards come with plastic covering, rather than paper (like you get at the dollar store), but it's inexpensive so...I guess you can't complain _too_ much?

wanted some padding for a dart board backing. This doesn't add much weight (has to hang) and gives a lot of protection for the wall.

It's not of the best quality, but it is sufficient. The price was extremely reasonable - I was shocked as I scanned the page and found it. I use these in my work, and for reasons that befuddle me, I cannot for the life of me figure out why the price on foam board has skyrocketed to such a ridiculous extent. So, when I saw and investigated this good deal, I knew there had to be a quality issue involved. There is, but it's not a deal breaker. It's just not as weighty, thick, and solid as what I normally use. But, it works well enough for what I do with it. 5 stars, for the price.

These are just the right amount of rigid, with a little bit of padding/flexibility. If you need something really rigid that won't bend, err towards something like cardboard, but this is rigid enough to stand up to being moved around and shuffled on and off the easel, or moved around the desk without just flopping like a piece of paper or cardstock would have. Cuts really clean, I got very nice, sharp edges with the xacto, no frays or shedding from the foam. Really pleased with it.

When I paint on paper media, I tape the paper to a foam board so I can place it on my easel. So let me start by saying these foam boards will work fine for my purposes. However, as you can see in the photo, every board has almost the same identical creases on one side. Since the product was well packaged and there was no damage to the shipping box, I can only assume that these were packaged in this condition. These might not be acceptable for someone else who intended to use them for a project. Seems better quality control on the manufacturer's part might be needed.
