Great for popcorn painted ceilings. I did have to touch up very small spots, but my upper arm strength is not the best.

These sponge rollers absorb a minimum of 1/2 cup of paint. This makes it heavy & if you only buy a quart of paint make sure you can afford to lose that much paint. I actually had to take a paint stick & scrape out all the excess absorbed paint.

I ordered this roller specifically for painting my popcorn ceilings. It has multiple slits all across the roller in order to hold plenty of paint and to distribute it evenly over the popcorn. It did a great job.

Bought this thinking I might be able to get a 10x10 room with a thick knockdown texture done in a shorter amount of time and the joke was on me. This roller holds a ton of paint but I was surprised to see that it did not really release the paint well. I ended up doing multiple coats any way. Would not make this purchase again myself.

Rolling on some thinned latex white paint to the shingles. These foam roller covers hold a lot of paint material...much better than 1-3/8" nap rollers.

As I remember. I used this years ago and as I rolled any loose popcorn stuck in between the slices of foam but it got the job done.

This worked great for painting my stucco walls and ceilings. The only downfall is once it's absorbed the paint into the roller, it's SO heavy! It's a workout painting with it, but it does a great job

Works well on concrete walls and floors, but not ideal for stucco ceiling.
