Your cart is empty.High Density foam has a compression rate of 44lbs. It features the perfect amount of cushioning and stiffness. Its soft but still holds its firmness and support for an individual to sit on it without compressing the foam too much. COMPRESSION = FIRMNESS Compression (not density) is what determines firmness. If you dont want a cushion thats hard as a rock or a mattress that sinks when you sit on it, you have to check the compression or ILD number. Compression means the number of pounds necessary to compress a piece of foam 25% and still bounce back to the original thickness. For example, a 4" thick piece of foam that requires 33 lbs. to pack it down 1" and have it return to its full 4" thickness has a 33 lb. compression rating or (ILD) -Indention Load Deflection. - ALL FOAM SHEETS ARE SOLD PER SHEET - NOT PER YARD. This item worked exceptionally well when I ordered it to Reupholster my Couch Cushions. Everything fit well and it came out excellent. I will definitely order another one since I have more projects I want to work on. Thank you

Update: I did decide to use it since I needed it done quickly and no time to wait on another order. I put the crease in the middle where the middle tufts were going and it did help push in the bump. It is not really noticable with it tufted. The foam itself is great and easily workable. I changed it to 4 starsOriginal review: This was folded in half long ways and then rolled. The fold left a crease bump that will not go away. I did not see in the description where it said it would be folded...I was counting on it just being rolled. It is also 71" long and not 72"...which is not a problem for me but could be for someone. The foam itself seems good. I got this to do a headboard but I'd like for the foam to be flat with no bump down it. Not sure if I will be using this or not since it would have the crease bump across the headboard. If I were to turn it over, it would leave a dip...don't want a dip either. There is no way to get it back in the box to return so I may have to find something else to do with it. I will give it a few more days to flatten and if it does I will change my review. If it doesn't it was just wasted money

used these to bolster an ikea cushion, and it does what it says on the box. very thick, was pretty difficult to cut through, no bad smells, overall happy with the product

We made a custom bed and needed something 3 inches shorter than a normal twin. This worked perfectly without cutting the foam. It is firm but we are happy with result
