Didn't work at all for me. Could be user error, but I read the manuals, watched tutorials and gave it my decently experienced best try and this just wouldn't stick properly to any page or surface I tried. Very disappointing because I wanted so badly to love this!!!

I occasionally like to add metallic detailing to my watercolor paintings and usually use leaf (which is so messy) or mica based shimmer paints (which works but looks like shimmer paint and not metal) This too might be the thing that finally lets me accent my paintings in a way that is mess free and super shiny! Assuming I can figure out the best way to get the gilding to go exactly where I need since I cannot see through the foil, but that is a me problem.The tool works great, I love the different nibs, especially the detail pen. My only complaint is the nib remover, I didn't really find it worked all that well and had better luck just using a pair of pliers.

I thought a cheaper one from Hobby Lobby was all I needed, but this set is superior. I tried both the wide nib and the ultra thin one and both work nicely. It takes a bit of getting used to but the effect is very nice. I have to learn to write with it but in the meantime I am using them for accents on my painted cards or anywhere else in my art that needs a little sparkle.

I have always wanted to try crafting with foil and this Quill Pen was perfect for a first time user like myself. To be honest, I wasn't too sure of how this would work out for me but I am using it well. It comes with all the basics that I needed to get started. The pen is plugged in and the extra tips work in making nice indentations on the foil. There are a set of instructions which helped guide me through the process. This is fun to use but it's also useful for gifts, invitations or whatever sort of correspondence meant to be mailed out. This was great for me as a beginner who hadn't even heard of this before. This works well and I hope to get good use out of it.

This quilt is a nice size and comfortable to hold. It is made out of a heavy duty plastic with the tips being metal. You get several different styles of tips. It comes with a roll of so you can practice with it right away. I love using it for a custom handwriting on cards. The tips are nice and smooth. I have not found any dragging or tearing of the foil. It tends to get a little warm towards the tip end but not too bad. It plugs into any USB so it’s convenient to take with you and use. Price well For the quality of the product
