I've been out with this a few times. nice and big diameter wheel and pulls very smoothly. i'm very happy with this purchase. would recommend to anyone who wants to make a set-up for pulling up traps. (recreational traps that is.

Works great, but I’m not sure how long the nylon wheel is going to last under strain. To make it better suit my needs I modified the block by swapping the nylon wheel with a SS one with ball bearings

After using it several times now for lobster hoop netting I can't see how I did it without one! A real back saver and surprisingly it actually rings out the water on the line keeping you much dryer! Very well-built and much larger than the photo shows well worth $50.
