First about our previous bottle: We had really liked our original pet water bottle by another manufacturer. However, with time, it started having issues, like the little release button got stuck and finally stopped functioning (likely from little dirt bits getting into the mechanism over time). Water started leaking a bit here and there, and it simply didn't hold up. When the button finally broke off, we looked for a new bottle. One thing we never liked about the previous bottle is that the drinking cup took up so much space in our little dog walking bag. Yes, a ball for playing fetch did perfectly nestle into the cup, and that's how it often ended up in the bag, but that just added dirt to the bottle--very unhygienic! So, we thought we'd look for a folding bottle this time.Our new bottle is completely genius. The cup part perfectly folds over the bottle, making it space efficient and compact. What's even better is that the folding part covers up the water release button. If you forget to lock the button, it is protected by the folded cup and can't be pressed accidentally. I even keep this in my purse now. The button rotates to lock, and it feels smooth and easy. Another bonus: there is a carbon filter between the water compartment and the cup, meaning that when dog snout water flows back into the bottle, the dirty bits stay out! The folding part has a small silicon edge so that the water doesn't drip out towards the bottle. Whoever designed this bottle really knew what was needed to improve upon the first generation of bottles, and paid attention to all the details.We got the blue, and it is nicer in person than in the photos, more muted and not an obnoxious baby blue.

I’d been looking for a portable water bottle for my dog, but most that I was seeing were just too big for what I was looking for. I didn’t want one that could hold enough water for a full day on the go, or that had included storage for food. I just wanted a small and very portable dispenser for a quick visit to the park or short walk. This was exactly what I was looking for. I’ve used it many times and find it well constructed, it doesn’t leak, it has a lock on the water release button, which is nice, and holds just enough water for my 55lb Staffy to drink it all at once, and seem content that it was enough. Again, this won’t hold enough for extended time out, it’s just good for one refresher for your dog, but if that’s what you want, this is a great option. It feels pretty durable, like it could handle a reasonable drop or two, or being thrown around inside a bag. It includes a charcoal filter, which wasn’t an option that I was specifically looking for, but I like that it’s included. However, it doesn’t seem to be replaceable. If that is the case, given the small volume of water per fill up, I believe it should have some pretty good longevity, and once it does no longer provide any filtering benefit, will still work fine. And if you’re like me and fill it up at home with known clean water, really makes no difference. I’d not heard of this brand before, but I’m very happy I gave it a try. Would purchase again for sure.

Great to use on dog walks. Not too heavy and it has a wristband, so it’s easy to carry. I put about a half of a bottle of water in there. And being able to save the water my dog didn’t drink is very helpful.

This is nice and compact, easy to carry with the strap it comes with. I gave this 4 stars because it is difficult to unfold it with one hand. Also if you're not careful about getting all the water back in and you try to fold it, the water spills through the fold.

This portable water bottle with dispensing trough is high quality, compact and easy to put in a bag or backpack. I especially appreciate that it closes firmly, and doesn't leak when closed completely. One can also reclaim dispensed water back into the bottle through the built-in filter if desired. (This is nice if you're in the car, where you can't dump leftover water.)

This was great at first. But after a 1-2 months, the silicone ring that keeps it leak proof wears off after lots of opening and closing of the tray, and it’s leaking all over the place.We still use it, but we just pour our water into the tray, let our dog drink, and then throw out the water right after so that we don’t get leakage.Loved it at first, especially because it was summertime. Was great for walks and airport.

I really like how compact this water bottle is. It is a little bit smaller than I had anticipated. It reminds me of a baby food jar. I got it to fit in the pouch of my treats bag when I take my pooch for her walks. So far it seems to be perfect for what I was wanting. It is super cute too. Has a nice sturdy handle attached and it’s nice to also have the option to be able to drain the water back into bottle instead of wasting it when my pup doesn’t want as much as I dispensed for her. I only wish this bottle came in a metal option to keep it cooler for longer

I have one of those adventure cats that goes with me everywhere. I always carry a bottle of water and a little cup to serve it. And of course I’m always trying to figure out where I put the cup. So I decided to give this a try, wondering if she would drink out of it. To my surprise, she absolutely loves it. What I love about the bottle is it easy to carry and it’s got a string that you can attach anywhere. I ended up purchasing another one so we had one in my vehicle and one in her stroller. I was pleasantly surprised by this.Speaking to the issue about leaking. When you fold it back over, there’s gonna be some leftover water that will fall out of the top as it tips back over. This would be expected. You just move it away from you clear the area let the little water drip out and then you’re good to go again. I have not had any issues with it leaking once it’s closed and secure.

I didn’t realize it comes with a filter. I was checking to see where I can purchase more filters but had no luck. You have to make sure it’s fully extended before pressing the button to release the water or else it will spill. So far it’s working out okay and my dog has no problems drinking out of it.

This is a nice small size, big enough for small dogs. I love it's a fold out bowl so again it keeps the size small. There's also a built-in filter which is great, I didn't even notice that when I placed the order so that was an added bonus. I love that it has a little strap so you can carry it easily but it also is small enough to fit inside my Crossbody bag easily
